In this recipe, we will use 880 grams of flour (780 grams of 00 flour and 100 grams of semolina flour), 500 + 250 grams of butter, 280 grams of sugar, 2 egg yolks, 2 whole eggs and 1 vanilla pod.

My grandmother always prepared it for special occasions, and its fragrance filled the house with joy and happiness. Whenever I make this cake, I feel close to my family and its traditions.

To prepare the apple pie, mix the butter and sugar quickly and cold, add the vanilla seeds and eggs. Finally, add the previously sifted flour and knead until smooth. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.

Next, spread the dough on a baking sheet and arrange the chopped apples. Combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples. Finally, drizzle 250 grams of melted butter over the apples and bake at 200 degrees in a static oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
